Meet Allison Retter, Olivia’s Dream’s New Board President
We’re delighted to share that Allison Retter began her term as President of the Olivia’s Dream Board of Directors in July 2026. Allison has been part of our board since Fall 2022, where she has focused on mission advancement, helping us bring a rainbow of hope to children and families in need. We couldn’t be more excited to have her lead us into this next chapter.
A Cleveland Native Who Champions Creativity
Allison is the Director of Development at the Cleveland Institute of Art, where she supports the next generation of artists and designers. A Cleveland native, she brings more than 15 years of nonprofit experience, including fundraising for both operating and programmatic initiatives across a wide range of mission-driven organizations.
That experience is a real asset to Olivia’s Dream. Allison understands what it takes to build lasting community support, and she knows how to connect generous donors with work that makes a difference.
From Mission Advancement to Board President
Since joining the board as a volunteer in 2022, Allison has given her time, energy, and expertise to advancing our mission. Stepping into the role of President is a natural next step in her commitment to the children and families we serve.
“I’m truly grateful to serve as Olivia’s Dream Board President and support this organization that has done so much for our community. I look forward to working closely with our board and volunteers to strengthen and grow our programs and honor Olivia’s legacy. ”
Beyond the Boardroom
When she’s not working on behalf of Cleveland’s arts community, Allison can often be found running, hiking, or enjoying Cleveland’s robust theater scene.
Looking Ahead
Under Allison’s leadership, we’re looking forward to continuing the advancement of our Rainbow Response efforts to provide immediate support to families following a traumatic event. Please join us in congratulating Allison and welcoming her to her new role. We’re grateful for her dedication and can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
